Azure Solution Architect

define the strategy of hosting, building, and maintaining an operation data store (ODS) in collaboration with development, architecture and business teams
be responsible for the documentation describing best practices and guidelines
coach designers and developers across the company to aim for consistence in practices
be the SPOC regarding data platform technology matters; communicate to both business and technical audience
develop and/or lead the developments of a prototype ODS to be used as MVP in a critical client-facing project
deliver high quality documentation and products

You have :

at least 15 years of experience as senior IT software engineer / architect
significant experience in big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark), streaming & stream processing (Kafka, Flink) and cloud solutions (e.g. Azure)
experience in delivering cross-functional multi-platform designs, to be used in mission-critical contexts (real-time criticality & high resilience)
cross-technology knowledge (SQL, NoSQL, NewSQL, etc..)
very good analysis & investigation skills; ability to break down complex problems and develop solutions
ability to operate in a changing environment and to participate to the change
excellent communication skills (verbal, written, active listening)
proven experience to effectively delegate tasks and responsibilities while maintaining overall control
assertiveness in driving tasks to completion
experience with offshoring & remote teams
experience of agile practices and methods, especially DevOps, test automation and continuous delivery pipeline
experience in a financial regulated environment is a plus
